I'm back!!!

Hi Everyone....sorry for the absence ..it feels like we have been driving the country side all of this week...between Blaine getting stuck in Calgary and finally getting a flight home via Kamloops. On a trip to Kelowna this past week there were alot of people on "Wood Lake" ice fishing, from a distance they looked like "penquins" walking on the ice, too funny!

Our livingroom is slowly getting finished, we just recently got chairs for the island, we have 3 and plan to pick up the 4th one either tomorrow or Monday in Kamloops..

"who's that doggy in the window ...the one with the waggly tail"!!

This picture was taken in Kamloops late Wednesday afternoon when I picked Blaine up from the Kamloops Airport....it looks alot different here in the winter compared to the "summer - desert look!

I have faithfully been at the gym 4 times this week and really have enjoyed getting back into groove of running and working out...it's painfull, but it feel great afterwards! My friend Jilly has asked me to go in a half marathon in Vancouver in May...so I now have a goal and a big one at that to achieve! ...this is something that I have always wanted to do...so what better incentive to get back in shape!

Last night we had our neighbors, Marjie and Richard over for dinner, we had a really nice evening getting to know one another better...and we are looking forward to having a game of "cross crib" with them when they return from their Cuban vacation.

We are sure looking forward to mom and dad coming in now less than 2 weeks, it will be exciting for us to show them our new home and some highlights around the area...

Job prospects are looking up, I may even end up having 2 jobs if things work out...both of them will most likely just be part time, so that would work out great...I guess patience is a virtues!
