Today we took a drive to Kamloops, the roads were clear and dry and although it was not sunny it was a nice day for a drive. We saw some "white swans" along the water's edge as we were driving. Apparently alot swans tend to winter here in the Shuswap. Here in Shuswap Lake Estates they have even built a housed-in enclosure for the white swans that call the 3rd hole on the golf course their home!
We were looking for roof rakes while in Kamloops, but apparently so were many others, as there were none to be found! The idea behind this is to pull some of the snow that is on the roof, off ...to lessen the load abit. Thankfully there is no snow in the forecast at least in the next 5 days.
Not too much else to report today, other than, I have had a bit of a toothache for the last couple of days, so far, Ibuprofen is keeping it at bay, but I think that finding a dentist is currently high on the "to do" list for next week...just in case!
