Well its been well over a week since my last post...we had a nice visit with mom and dad for 5 days, and although the weather was very nice while they were here, the night before they left we had another snow storm! Dad was clowning around as you can see by the photo about how much snow we do have here!
It was sure nice having them here with us, we were able to take them around the area, and also took some nice walks too. Zoie was estatic when they walked in, she must have thought, "now where have they been"?
The last couple of days I have been enjoying working on Sherise's Birthday quilt as well finishing off a quilted table centre peice and cutting out fabric for a quilted table runner for our
antique dresser in our guest bedroom. It's sure been nice being off work to enjoy getting back into my quilting. The picture below is of the table runner that is next on my agenda. It's best to have afew projects going at once just to keep things interesting!

Today the weather was absolutely beautiful...sunny and a balmy +6. I took Zoie for a long walk through the treed area close by, it was so beautiful walking through the woods...now having said this, I don't think that I would do this in the spring, not with the resident mama bear coming out of hibernation! ah... which reminds me, of an item that needs to go on the shopping list, "bear bells!
Blaine and I might be attending a fund raiser for the Sorrento School at our club house tomorrow night, they will have a Silent Auction which is always fun as well as karoke, which I don't do, but I'm sure it will worth a couple of laughs!
Sunday morning its off to Kamloops for us as Blaine is heading to Calgary and then on to Edmonton for a couple days of business...and staying at Sherise's B&B! She provides the bed for Blaine and he supplys the pizza!
I have booked a flight back to Edmonton as well and will be there from Feb. 24 - Mar.2, I am looking forward to spending some time with Sherise, family and friends!
Well, that's it for today, see you tomorrow! Have a wonderful weekend...
