I'm back!!!!!!

A good day to everyone!!!

Sorry for the absence, it has been busy with family visiting, work and just life!

We had a wonderful visit with Sherise, Gary, Norene & Jilly at Thanksgiving...the weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful and the turkey was delicious!!! The guys managed to sneek in a golf game...which left us girls to do what we like to do....sip on hot fancy drinks at the Pink Cherry http://www.mypinkcherry.com/Home.html in Salmon Arm and and then browse through some of the cool shops in town....

We took everyone for the Wight Tour....first up, Margaret Falls, which is located in Herald Park...Pretty impressive even late in the year when the falls have slowed considerably...if you look on the sides of the falls the water is starting to freeze, eventually it will freeze completely and then it is a ice climber's dream, to pic their way to the top!

Next stop the Adams River where the Salmon were spawning...although there were still alot of salmon in the river, next year they say is the "peak year", a must see for sure.....

So a great Thanksgiving it was!!! ...lots of family time, good food and bonding! We got our first glimpse of winter on Sunday evening, Blaine and I were enjoying some time in the hot tub while it was raining....which then turned to snow!!! ...needless to say, we now have snow on our green grass! Hopefully it will disappear in the next couple of days as Blaine still plans to get a golfing game in yet!
