Hello again....

It has been too long since my last post!! I was just leaving for Edmonton on my last post and now I have even been back to Edmonton again!....another great visit with Sherise, family and friends ...I actually hitched a ride back to Edmonton with our neighbors who were driving there for a wedding. The idea behind this was so that I could drive my little Lucy Bug back home here to BC!

I had a special passenger with me on my road trip back through the mountains....my friend of almost 30 years...Lee!! We talked non-stop for almost 11 hours as we plowed through a storm from Edson to Jasper...did some shopping in Jasper...stopped in Valemount for lunch and stopped to admire the majestic Mountain Robson!

Lee stayed with us for 3 days and then we drove her to the Kelowna airport to fly back home yesterday...Blaine and I sure enjoyed spending time with her ...she has such a sense of humor and was such a great guest!

Well, my little girl is in the big city of San Francisco!! ...I thought that I would share some pictures that she has sent ...it sounds like she is having a great action-packed trip....from walking along the wharf...to checking out the aquarium, to testing her will power in Giradelli Square (the original chocolate shop)...to enjoying a delicious crab meal ...as well as Alcatraz!! I can hardly wait for the next update on their adventures!

Spring is definitely in the air here....the snow is almost gone...and today I saw tulips ready to bloom!! ...the robins are busy making their nests and the Shuswap is coming to life! Have a wonderful week.....
